Yesterday, March 3, to mark World Wildlife Day, they brought this idea back to life with the launch of a Limited Edition of Numbered Screen Prints, which aims to help keep awareness alive in all of us.
The limited edition serigraphs were printed at FICA Oficina Criativa. Twenty-six serigraphs, one for each letter of the alphabet.

The Endangered Typeface is a living font that is directly linked to the IUCN RED LISTwhich assesses the risk of species extinction.
Each letter in this typeface represents an animal. The smaller the number of individuals of that species, the more the corresponding letter fades.
Because every animal species is a limited edition. Silkscreen editions have been created for each of the letters in the alphabet. Each letter represents an endangered species.
Screen printing is an ancient printing process in which ink is transferred to a substrate (paper, fabric, other) by means of a stretched mesh, the screen. This versatile method is used on a variety of materials, from paper and fabric to glass, plastic and metal.
Learn about the process and explore its stages, from preparing the canvases to applying them to different substrates.
Choose your letter and make a donation to ANP | WWF Portugal to order a numbered serigraph. All donations go towards conservation projects.
