This technique is an adaptation of one of the oldest printing methods. Using it to personalize your clothes or decorative items is just one of the possibilities of this method. Learn how to engrave and print on your own, on fabrics or other surfaces.

You don't need any previous knowledge of the subject.

 

What you will learn to do:

- develop a design that best suits the stamp

- engraving stamps by hand

- adapting it for stamping

- types of fabrics

- types of paint

- print your own tote bag which you then take with you, as well as the stamps.

All the materials you need are included.

ATELIER KARAKA
Creative studio based in Porto and created three years ago by designer Marta Afonso. It is a space for exploring manual printing techniques on fabric as well as illustration and pattern design. Marta believes that there is a creative "I" in each of us, which is why she has dedicated herself to teaching courses and workshops that promote the use of manual techniques as an expression of individual creativity.
