In bookbinding training, we explore manual bookbinding techniques to make notebooks from start to finish.
The aim is for everyone to leave the workshop with their own notebook and the technical knowledge to continue making bindings without assistance.
This workshop will give you an understanding of the fundamental structures of the Coptic exposed seam binding technique.
You don't need any previous knowledge of the subject, nor do you need to bring any materials.

Cancellations may occur. If there is a cancellation for this workshop, we will let you know.
Cancellation of Registration
IMPORTANT - Cancellations/postponements/refunds of registrations (including gift voucher registrations) are only permitted if you give us at least 7 days' notice of the start of the workshop. Any cancellation with less than 7 days' notice, we will do our best to fill your place, however, a refund or postponement can only be made if your place is filled.
If a trainee fails to attend one or more training sessions, FICA is not responsible for replacing or compensating for that session.

Covid-19
Wearing a mask is still compulsory. In addition, at the entrance (and often inside the workshop) you should disinfect your hands with an alcohol-based solution, which will be available inside the workshop. In the workshop, whenever possible, respect social distancing in order to maintain a safe distance from the other trainees.
In accordance with the legislation in force at the time of this training, it may be necessary to present a valid digital vaccination certificate and/or proof of a laboratory test with a negative COVID-19 test result.
