Ceramics Workshop

If you really want to get your hands dirty, ceramics is literally for you. Come and make your own breakfast and dinner set or build a more artistic piece to put on the table.

No previous knowledge requiredbut rather the will to create.

How does it work?
Once a week you come to Fica to get to work. You learn the basic techniques if you don't already know them, or develop something more complex if you already have some experience.

Program and Methodology

Class 1. Introduction to Ceramics / Types of Pastes and Characteristics / Manual Forming Techniques I

Class 2. Decoration and coating techniques on raw clay I / Manual forming techniques II

Class 3. Techniques for decorating and coating raw clay II / Enforna da chacota

Lesson 4: Decoration techniques on shellac / glazing

Materials
White paste (faience), various engobes, paints and glazes included.

You just need to bring ideas.

Minimum number: 4pax / Maximum number: 8pax

Restrictions

There are no restrictions in terms of clothing, in the workshop we have aprons for everyone.

To shape the paste, we advise you not to have long nails.

Cancellation of Registration
Refunds or cancellations of paid reservations are only permitted if you give us at least 7 days' notice before the start of the workshop.

If you don't speak Portuguese don't worry we will give the workshop in english.
