Description
In this Embroidery on Fabric workshop, we'll start by looking at the Art of Embroidery. This is an experimental workshop where we will explore techniques and materials in a personal and creative way, albeit guided.
We will embroider an illustration of a flower provided by the trainer, using the needle painting technique.
This workshop is for those who already have a basic knowledge of embroidery, such as simple stitches or abstract needlework. In this workshop we will focus on the technique of needle painting. We will learn how to make a selection of colors for a project and how to give the piece depth and volume.

Material
Frame lined with fabric.
The necessary support material for the training will be available: embroidery threads, needles, frames, scissors, pencils, pens, stitch samples, embroidery

About the trainer
The d'enfiada is a traditionally unconventional project.
Focused on textile art, it illustrates the timeless beauty of nature and portrays charismatically ordinary people through the embroidery technique. The entire process is manual, making each piece unique.
Cancellation of Registration
IMPORTANT - Cancellations/postponements/refunds of registrations (including gift voucher registrations) are only permitted if you give us at least 7 days' notice of the start of the workshop. Any cancellation with less than 7 days' notice, we will do our best to fill your place, however, a refund or postponement can only be made if your place is filled.
If a trainee fails to attend one or more training sessions, FICA is not responsible for replacing or compensating for that session.

The workshop is held in Portuguese. If you don't speak Portuguese, we will try to translate in English. But understand that Portuguese will be the main language.
