Hand Printing on Fabric - Rubber Stamps

The block print technique makes use of various engraving materials. One of the most versatile and with the best results are rubber bases. In this workshop, each participant will design two stamps for overlapping two colors, one exploring the line and the other the fill. We'll also talk about the particularities of the fabrics to print on, the types of inks and the tools needed. At the end, they will take home the hand-printed fabric and their own stamps.
You don't need any previous knowledge of the subject.
Program
- Types of paint, fabric and tools needed;
- Develop a drawing with two layers;
- Divide the drawing into the matrices corresponding to the line and fill;
- Adaptation of the design and conception of the two stamps - line and fill;
- Print the stamps on a piece of fabric that they will take home.

Deconfinement plan (Covid-19)
Due to the current situation, wearing a mask will be compulsory in the workshop. At the entrance (and often inside the workshop) you should disinfect your hands with an alcohol-based solution, which will be available inside the workshop. In the workshop, respect social distancing and keep a safe distance from other trainees of between 1.5 and 2 meters. Seats will be 1.5 - 2 meters apart.
