Flash Ceramics Workshops have 4 variants: Rolos, Bola, Maciço Ocado and Lastra, for each of the 4 manual forming techniques.
This workshop will specifically cover the roller technique, which allows you to create curved, symmetrical and asymmetrical shapes layer by layer. You will build a piece using this technique, make finishes and collages and decorate it with engobes.
No previous knowledge is required and all the variants of the Ceramics Flash Workshops can be done in no particular order.
Flash Workshops are 3-hour sessions where we introduce you to some of the techniques we have in the workshop. The idea is to explain to you how the principles, tools and utensils of each of these crafts work in general, but also our working methodology. In short, with these workshops you can move on to the next step, which would be to make a workshop.

All the pieces produced will be fired and glazed by FICA (they will have to be picked up afterwards)

Deconfinement plan (Covid-19)
Due to the current situation, wearing a mask will be compulsory in the workshop. In addition, at the entrance (and often inside the workshop) you should disinfect your hands with an alcohol-based solution, which will be available inside the workshop. In the workshop, respect social distancing in order to maintain a safe distance from other trainees of between 1.5 and 2 meters. Therefore, the seats to be occupied will be 1.5 - 2 meters apart.
