Description

In this ceramic illustration workshop, you'll illustrate a dish using ceramic mines. For this edition of the illustration with ceramic mines workshop, we have invited illustrator Carolina Celas to guide you through the graphic composition. Taking advantage of the graphic advantages of this technique, which is very similar to pencil and pastel, and which is so characteristic of the artist's work, you will develop an idea and create one or two graphic compositions to draw directly onto the ceramic plates.

The ceramic mine allows you to draw on the ceramic piece after the first firing. At the end of the class, once the color has set, we will apply the glaze, which always involves a second firing*.

No previous knowledge is required.

Program Content

Concept / idea and sketch;
Choosing a color palette and experimenting with colored pencils on paper;
Transferring the image to the ceramic object;
Drawing directly on the piece with ceramic chalk.

*After the workshop, the dishes will be cooked in the workshop and then collected at a date to be agreed.

Cancellation of Registration

IMPORTANT - Cancellations/postponements/refunds of registrations (including gift voucher registrations) are only permitted if you give us at least 7 days' notice of the start of the workshop. Any cancellation with less than 7 days' notice, we will do our best to fill your place, however, a refund or postponement can only be made if your place is filled.

If a trainee fails to attend one or more training sessions, FICA is not responsible for replacing or compensating for that session.
