LINOCUT WORKSHOP IN ENGLISH

Description

Linogravure is a technique derived from woodcut, but it uses linoleum as the base material and is softer and easier to carve. During the process, a matrix is carved out where the ink is applied to the embossed parts, acting like a stamp by printing on the paper using pressure.

In this linoengraving workshop, by sharing the artist's creative and narrative process, each participant will develop a final artwork, carve the matrix in linoleum and engrave it on high-quality paper.

Program Content

Linoengraving technique - digging out a matrix with the help of gouges
Engraving the matrix on high-quality paper
Creation of individual editions in one or two colors, signed and numbered by each of the participants.

Cancellation of Registration

IMPORTANT - Cancellations/postponements/refunds of registrations (including gift voucher registrations) are only permitted if you give us at least 7 days' notice of the start of the workshop. Any cancellation with less than 7 days' notice, we will do our best to fill your place, however, a refund or postponement can only be made if your place is filled.

If a trainee fails to attend one or more training sessions, FICA is not responsible for replacing or compensating for that session.
