This is an opportunity for anyone to try out a range of manual fabric printing techniques that don't require specialized equipment and can be repeated at home on your own. We'll talk about the most appropriate types of ink, tools and fabrics, as well as adapting creativity to various techniques such as stencils, masks, block printing and different types of stamps. Participants will also learn how to develop their own patterns and print their own scarf, which they will take home at the end.

ATELIER KARAKA
Creative studio based in Porto and created three years ago by designer Marta Afonso. It is a space for exploring manual printing techniques on fabric as well as illustration and pattern design. Marta believes that there is a creative "I" in each of us, which is why she has dedicated herself to teaching courses and workshops that promote the use of manual techniques as an expression of individual creativity.
