Screen printing is one of the most widely used techniques for printing fabric and allows you to effectively duplicate different types of final artwork. Using more specific tools such as the printing carousel, for perfect registrations or pieces already sewn, or preparing the set for a meter print, we'll share everything you need to know about the technique from start to finish. From inks to screens, emulsion, photolithographs and fabric types, you'll learn all about this process.

We'll be printing fabric by the meter together using the screen exposure method and printing pieces of fabric individually using the original stencil method. Pre-prepared shapes and cut-outs will be used, so you don't need to bring any drawings or ideas.

No previous knowledge is required.

Cancellations may occur. If the training is sold out and you would like to receive an alert if there are any withdrawals, send an e-mail to workshop@fica-oc.pt, with the subject line 'stamping waiting list', indicating your name and telephone number. If there is a cancellation for this workshop, we will let you know.

Cancellation of Registration

IMPORTANT - Cancellations/postponements/refunds of registrations (including gift voucher registrations) are only permitted if you give us at least 7 days' notice of the start of the workshop. Any cancellation with less than 7 days' notice, we will do our best to fill your place, however, a refund or postponement can only be made if your place is filled.
If a trainee fails to attend one or more training sessions, FICA is not responsible for replacing or compensating for that session.

Covid-19

According to Decree-Law No. 78-A/2021, the use of masks remains mandatory for educational establishments.

In addition, at the entrance (and often inside the workshop) you should disinfect your hands with an alcohol-based solution, which will be available inside the workshop. In the workshop, whenever possible, respect social distancing in order to keep a safe distance from the other trainees.
