Take advantage of screen printing in your artistic projects. In the screen printing workshops you can learn from basic to more complex techniques and print on paper, fabric, wood and other media. Once a week you come to Fica to get hands-on and print your own projects.
No previous knowledge is required.
Program
These sessions will be totally practical. In the 3 hours of each session, you can bring a drawing and put it into practice, printing it on paper or fabric. The idea is that over the course of the workshop you'll become comfortable with the technique, so that you can become completely autonomous and, of course, continue practicing in the workshop, in Craft Gym mode.
Class 1. Introduction to screen printing, from preparing the photolitho / emulsifying, exposing and recovering the screen / alternative printing methods: stencil / printing on paper and fabric
Lesson 2. Printing a final artwork in 1 color on 43 thread canvas, on paper, A5 print area.
Lesson 3. Printing a final artwork in 2 colors on 70 thread canvas, on paper, fabric or other support, A4 printing area.
Lesson 4: Printing a 2-color artwork on 120 thread canvas, on paper, fabric or other support, A3 printing area.
Why a weekly screen printing workshop?
Screen printing is a technique that involves some resources that not everyone has at their disposal, in addition there are many constraints that dictate the result of your print, to solve all this the best thing is to be able to do it accompanied by someone who teaches you and clarifies these doubts at the time.
Materials*
All the materials you need for the workshop are included. On average, you can make 15 two-color prints or 20 one-color prints. The inks and paper are also here, but in basic mode, so if you want a more specific ink or a paper with more weight, you can buy them here at special prices. We also have tote bags, t-shirts and much more.
