Description

The Intensive Screen Printing Workshop is best suited to those who, as well as wanting to learn all about screen printing, already have a drawing/illustration they would like to print. In the first part, after a first historical context of this ancient technique, we'll go through the whole process, get to know the necessary tools and the various printing techniques on screen printing. In the second part of the silkscreen workshop, we will prepare your final artwork and print a small individual series, numbered and signed.

Practical exercise

In the Screen Printing Workshop, you will learn the main steps of the screen printing process, as well as how to prepare a screen with your design to print a small edition in one color.

No previous knowledge necessary. Minimum age for participation: 18 years old / Accompanied by an adult (two entries): 16 years old

A brief historical context
Introduction to screen printing:
Photolithography / Screens / Emulsify / Print on Paper / Recover
1-color final art print - a black and white drawing must be prepared (all details will be sent after registration)
Numbered and signed edition of 10 copies of your drawing

Cancellation of Registration

IMPORTANT - Cancellations/postponements/refunds of registrations (including gift voucher registrations) are only permitted if you give us at least 7 days' notice of the start of the workshop. Any cancellation with less than 7 days' notice, we will do our best to fill your place, however, a refund or postponement can only be made if your place is filled.

If a trainee fails to attend one or more training sessions, FICA is not responsible for replacing or compensating for that session.
