In Level I of the Screen Printing Workshop, you learn how to print your own final artwork on paper. You'll learn the screen printing process, from preparing the matrix (indirect printing method and stencil) to recovering the frame. Throughout the sessions you'll use screen printing frames with different sizes and threads (43F/55F/72F) and understand the type of application that corresponds to each one. We'll explain the types of paper to print on, but also the appropriate inks. In the workshop we use water-based paper inks suitable for screen printing.

No previous knowledge is required.

Screen Printing Workshop Program

These sessions will be practical, the idea is that throughout the workshop you will become comfortable with the technique, so that you can become completely autonomous and, of course, continue to train in the workshop, in Craft Gym mode.

Materials*

All the materials you need for the workshop are included, except for the photolitho printing of your final artwork (we have a top quality photolitho printing service. In workshops you get a discount on this service). On average, you can print 20 one-color prints or 15 two-color prints. Inks and paper are included, but in basic mode, i.e. if you want a more specific ink or a paper with more weight, you can buy them here at special prices.

Cancellation of Registration

Deconfinement plan (Covid-19)

Due to the current situation, wearing a mask will be compulsory in the workshop. In addition, at the entrance (and often inside the workshop) you should disinfect your hands with an alcohol-based solution, which will be available inside the workshop. In the workshop, respect social distancing in order to maintain a safe distance from other trainees of between 1.5 and 2 meters. Therefore, the seats to be occupied will be 1.5 - 2 meters apart.
