It's fascinating to print your own design on a piece of fabric, and if the methods used to achieve this are handmade, even better. This is the kind of workshop that gives you the power to create and do it yourself. Starting from a base that is so much ours, the tiles will be the inspiration for you to create your pattern and print your fabrics.

You don't need any previous knowledge of the subject.

What you will learn to do:

- develop a standard

- Separate layers to create different matrices

- creating a stencil by hand

- types of fabrics

- types of paint

- print your own picture on fabric and take it with you.

All the materials you need are included.

ATELIER KARAKA
Creative studio based in Porto and created three years ago by designer Marta Afonso. It is a space for exploring manual printing techniques on fabric as well as illustration and pattern design. Marta believes that there is a creative "I" in each of us, which is why she has dedicated herself to teaching courses and workshops that promote the use of manual techniques as an expression of individual creativity.

Refunds or cancellations of paid reservations are only permitted if you give us at least 7 days' notice before the start of the workshop.

If you don't speak Portuguese don't worry we will give the workshop in english.
