In addition to our regular workshops, we offer workshops for companies, team-building events, and private workshops for groups, focused on FICA’s core crafts.
The offerings include ceramics workshops—such as hand-building and tile painting—as well as screen-printing and woodworking workshops, among other techniques and crafts that are part of our program WORKSHOPS.
Creative Team Building for Companies
Team-building activities take place at our workshop in Lisbon, in a setting that’s different from the typical workday, and are designed as creative experiences for teams, with a hands-on and relaxed atmosphere.
During the workshop, participants have the opportunity to try their hand at a new craft, work directly with materials and tools, and discover some of the techniques and processes associated with their chosen activity. No prior experience is necessary, and the goal is not to provide in-depth training, but rather to offer the team a unique experience through hands-on activities.
We conduct these activities as part of internal events, team meetings, and other corporate events. Depending on the proposal and the number of participants, we can also organize different activities simultaneously, allowing the group to be divided by activity.
For corporate events, we can also travel to and adapt to other venues, subject to an assessment of the conditions required for the event.

We organize team-building events and private workshops in ceramics, screen printing, and woodworking, among other techniques and crafts that are part of FICA’s program. The available activities depend on the date, the number of participants, and the desired format.
How many people can take part?
The number of participants depends on the technique and format chosen. At our studio in Lisbon, we can accommodate groups of up to about 40 participants in some ceramics workshops.
For larger groups, we can also explore formats that incorporate different techniques simultaneously.
Is prior experience required?
No. The workshops are designed for people with no prior knowledge or experience in the chosen technique. The activity is guided by our team, and each participant works directly with the materials and tools.
How long does a team-building event or private workshop last?
Most activities last about 2 hours, but the format can be adjusted depending on the technique, the number of participants, and the type of activity desired.
Can I customize the activity?
Yes. We can tailor the program to the number of participants, the methodology, the duration, and the group’s context. For companies, when appropriate, we can also incorporate specific references to the organization into the activity.
Is it possible to perform more than one technique in the same event?
Yes. Depending on the number of participants and the program, we can organize different activities simultaneously by dividing the group into smaller groups.
Do you organize team-building events outside of FICA?
Yes. We can host team-building events and workshops for companies at other venues, subject to an assessment of the conditions required for the activity.
Our workshop in Lisbon, however, allows us to use FICA’s equipment, tools, and materials directly and offers greater flexibility for certain techniques.
Are private workshops only for companies?
No. In addition to companies and teams, we offer private workshops for groups of friends, families, coworkers, or other groups looking to do an activity together.
Where are the workshops held?
The workshops are usually held at FICA Oficina Criativa in Lisbon. For companies, we can also travel to other venues, depending on the activity and the conditions of the location.
Are the materials included?
Yes. The materials needed to complete the activity are included, as well as the use of the necessary tools and equipment.
In the ceramics workshops, firing the pieces is included.
Are there shifts on the weekend or outside of regular business hours?
Yes. Private workshops and team-building events can be held Monday through Sunday, including during and after business hours, depending on FICA’s and the group’s availability.
