This workshop will take place in the new studio at Rua Bernardo Lima 10C.<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>March 14th, 2026<br>Saturday | 14h30-17h30<\/strong><br>Price - 65\u20ac (Material included)<br>Trainer - Rita Daniel from FICA Oficina Criativa<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Description<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nerikomi is a Japanese technique that allows you to create patterns on ceramic pieces through the specific position of different colored pastes. In this workshop we will color pastes using dyes and oxides and learn how to combine and design different patterns. We will create a small showcase and build a piece using Nerikomi slivers, which will then be fired and glazed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>No previous knowledge necessary. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Syllabus and Practical Exercise<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Mixture of dyes and oxide in the paste, both in an atomized and plastic state<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Construction of Nerikomi patterns, from the more traditional to the more experimental<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Making standardized mini samples for showcases<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Making a simple piece from a standardized ballast<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Material included<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">White folder<br>Dyes and oxides<br>Firing and glazing - all the pieces produced will be fired, glazed and fired again by us (they will have to be picked up later on a date to be agreed)<br>Nerikomi Introduction Mini-Handbook<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:30px\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Waiting List<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify wp-block-paragraph\">Cancellations may occur.
