Description<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Marquetry is the art of cutting and combining wood veneers to create decorative compositions rich in color, texture and detail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This technique, used in period furniture and objets d'art, continues to appeal today due to its precise craftsmanship and the results it achieves with simple materials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this marquetry workshop, each participant will have the opportunity to make a piece of their own from bird models provided by the trainer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Minimum age for participation: 18 years \/ Accompanied by an adult (two entries): 16 years<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Practical exercise<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Over the three sessions of this marquetry workshop, participants will create a marquetry composition depicting a bird, working on the cut-out, the selection of veneers and the final assembly of the piece.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All models and basic materials are provided by the trainer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
