O workshop Tinturaria Natural é uma introdução teórica e prática às técnicas de tingimento com plantas locais. Permite-te conhecer todas as etapas fundamentais do processo, desde a preparação das fibras até à extração da cor e aplicação nos tecidos. Vamos explorar como obter resultados consistentes e de qualidade, compreendendo o papel de cada etapa na criação de uma boa paleta de cor.

Workshop Complementar

Sugerimos a participação complementar, para quem desejar experimentar a interação entre serigrafia e tinturaria natural, no Workshop Serigrafia com mordentes e tinturaria natural. Nesse workshop, aplicamos mordentes com serigrafia para criar padrões que ganham cor nos banhos de tingimento — uma abordagem prática e visual do cruzamento entre impressão e cor natural.

Practical exercise

Durante o workshop, iremos preparar e criar coletivamente três banhos de tinturaria com plantas locais. Cada participante irá desenvolver uma seleção de amostras e terá ainda a oportunidade de tingir um tecido de maior dimensão para futuros projetos (como costura, bordado, remendos, colagem têxtil ou decoração da casa). Utilizaremos técnicas de shibori e modificadores de cor para explorar padrões e variações.

Program Content

Introdução à tinturaria natural;
Contextualização e princípios básicos;
Preparação das fibras;
Extração de cor a partir de plantas locais;
Preparação de três banhos de tingimento;
Uso de modificadores de cor;
Técnicas de reserva (shibori) para criação de padrões.

Cancellation of Registration

IMPORTANT - Cancellations/postponements/refunds of registrations (including gift voucher registrations) are only permitted if you give us at least 7 days' notice of the start of the workshop. Any cancellation with less than 7 days' notice, we will do our best to fill your place, however, a refund or postponement can only be made if your place is filled.

If a trainee fails to attend one or more training sessions, FICA is not responsible for replacing or compensating for that session.
