Dia 21 de Março apresentamos o resultado da residência artística do Frederico Pompeu, realizada no ano passado, no âmbito do Ginásio de Ofícios da FICA.
Na residência artística do Frederico Pompeu, cada peça começou com um gesto inicial, ao qual o artista respondeu intuitivamente, ajustando, compensando e recompondo. Sem um percurso ou objetivo definidos, as formas surgiram entre imprevisibilidade e irregularidade.

FICA editions in stop motion
Invited to imagine a story through the illustrations in the first collection, the Silvio Teixeira created a fictional tale, bringing our pieces and the craft process to life. We were also honored to have the narration of David Fonseca At the end, we leave you with a challenge. Now you just have to start imagining new stories for the new collection.
A FICA editions is our new FICA Oficina Criativa platform, dedicated to the manual production done in the workshop. On FICA editionswe will promote and sell limited editions and share our production.
The highlight will be ceramic screen printing, combining two of our favorite crafts. Each piece is handmade and screen-printed, one color at a time.
