FICA creative workshop is a learning space dedicated to handicrafts, located in Lisbon.
We regularly work in areas such as ceramics, woodworking, screen printing, and other craft practices. The creative workshops for children follow the same approach: direct contact with materials and tools.
More than replicating results, we're interested in creating the conditions for experimenting, making mistakes and doing things again.

Creative Workshops for Children in Lisbon

FICA Oficina Criativa’s creative workshops for children are based on real-world practices—such as ceramics, woodworking, screen printing, printmaking, and textiles—adapted to different age groups while preserving the essence of the processes.

In each workshop, there are objects to build, surfaces to print on, and materials to experiment with and explore. The children work with hands-on materials, tools, and manual techniques, exploring shape, color, and structure.

Each exercise is designed to develop attention, coordination, and independence through hands-on activity. It is also a space for experimenting, testing, and learning from mistakes.
