Description

In the decorating with ceramic decals workshop, you will learn how to apply decorative decals to ceramic pieces. Ceramic decals are decorative transfers applied to pieces that have already been fired and glazed.

In this workshop you will illustrate two plates using the ceramic decal technique, by cutting out and gluing colored decals to create your own compositions.

Afterwards*, the pieces are subjected to a third firing at around 800°C, which permanently fixes the decal.

No previous knowledge is required.
Minimum age for participation: 16 years / Accompanied by an adult (two entries): 14 years

Program Content

Introduction
Concept / idea and sketch;
Choosing a color palette and gluing it onto cardboard;
Cut out the decals and transfer them to the ceramic object.

*After the workshop, the dishes will be cooked in the workshop and then collected at a date to be agreed.

Cancellation of Registration

IMPORTANT - Cancellation/postponement/refund of registrations (including gift voucher registrations) is only allowed if you give us at least 7 days' notice before the start of the workshop. If you cancel less than 7 days before the start of the workshop, we will do our best to fill your place, however, you can only postpone the workshop (or put the amount in a gift voucher) if your place is filled.

If a trainee fails to attend one or more training sessions, FICA is not responsible for replacing or compensating for that session.
