Description

In the Four-color (CMYK) Photo Screen Printing Workshop we will explore the technique of printing photographs in color using CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black). With it, you can turn a photograph into a precise and controlled screen print, going through the entire process: digital editing, technical preparation, screen engraving and 4-color sequential printing.

This approach stands out for its versatility, allowing you to create complex images from digital photographs, learning how colors overlap to create the complete visual illusion. In addition, it is a technique used in both artistic and industrial production, ideal for those looking to understand how screen printing reproduces photographic images with precision and visual impact.

You will print out a photo of yourself, which must be sent before the workshop (you will receive an email with all the necessary information before the workshop takes place).

No previous knowledge is required.

Program Content

• Introduction to the CMYK color system
• Demonstration of color separation and how the 4 layers work
• Digital editing in Photoshop for technical preparation
• Screen engraving with photosensitive emulsion
• Sequential printing: Cyan → Magenta → Yellow → Black, of a photo (yours) in A5
• Observation of how the colors overlap and create the final image

Material included

In the four-color photographic screen printing workshop, the material needed to carry out the training is included.

Cancellation of Registration

IMPORTANT - Cancellation/postponement/refund of registrations (including gift voucher registrations) is only allowed if you give us at least 7 days' notice before the start of the workshop. If you cancel less than 7 days before the start of the workshop, we will do our best to fill your place, however, you can only postpone the workshop (or put the amount in a gift voucher) if your place is filled.

If a trainee fails to attend one or more training sessions, FICA is not responsible for replacing or compensating for that session.
