Ceramic kit

Ceramics is one of the oldest techniques we know. And you could say it's an art that's present in every home and on every table.

This Ceramics Kit is an essential guide to getting started in ceramics and has been made based on all our experience. This is the only way we could pass on everything you need to turn this experience into an excellent result.

With this kit, which includes all the materials you need to start learning, you can build various types of parts for various functions and uses. We teach you the four hand-building techniques so that you can explore each one and make various types of pieces. In addition, we explain the preparation of the paste (and its packaging), the drying and shrinking process, among other details.

Batches

We make ceramic kilns even for those who don't make them at FICA. The muffle is available for firing from 800ºc to 1280ºc, with two options. You can find all the details below SUPPLIED.

Engobes

Liquid engobes are coatings based on clay and coloring materials such as oxides. They are colored coatings applied before the first firing. They are available in various colors, which remain fairly faithful to their raw color. See the Liquid engobes.

The ceramic samples - faience, terracotta and red clay - shown in the images in this ceramic kit are considered low-temperature and were fired at 1020° (the colors may vary in shade and color according to the configuration of the monitors).
